Dear Parents, Carers and visitors,

Welcome to Kings Norton Primary School’s brand new website.

We are a fully inclusive school that caters for children between the ages of 4 and 11. They join in foundation stage and spend seven years with us up until the end of year 6 before moving onto their secondary education. Our school is always fully subscribed with a waiting list for places and very little pupil mobility.

At the heart of our school is the vision that,

‘Learning is an adventure! Together, there are no limits to what we can achieve. ‘

Individually, as a school and community we should have the highest expectations for achievement, standards and conduct, working towards a common purpose with the children at the centre of all we do. We believe that there should be no boundaries to your child’s success.  Learning should be exciting, enjoyable, relevant, engaging whilst at the same time challenging and thought provoking.

To enable your children to succeed, for them to have high aspirations and be the best they can be takes a great deal of hard work on the part of school, families and the numerous support agencies and partners with whom we work.

Working together we provide your child with the tools, skills and opportunities to achieve their goals and fulfil their potential. Learning is a journey for each and every one of us which continues throughout our lives. We believe in real life experiences that support this journey and so encourage learning away from the classroom at places of interest and in the environment wherever possible.

We have a strong tradition of music and sport with extra-curricular groups, competitive teams and peripatetic music lessons for a wide range of instruments

Our strong and well established PTA at Kings Norton raises invaluable extra funding for school through hard work and dedication. They have considerable enjoyment in doing so and are always on the look out to recruit new parents to keep this tradition alive and effective.

Who benefits from all of this?  Everyone, but especially your children.

Best regards.
